At insitro, we are combining human biology at scale and machine learning to discover and develop new therapeutics. The heart of our strategy is to produce large data sets that will drive machine learning and yield key biological insights. This strategy requires a seamless, robust, and effective operation that simultaneously spans internal and partnered projects.
Reporting to the Head of Financials Operations, we are seeking a purchasing professional that is experienced in procurement for high-throughput biology operations, collaborative and versatile to join our growing team. As the first hire in this role, you will be accountable for all purchasing activities, including and not limited to: setting the strategy, implementing procedures and executing purchases, inventory management, procurement planning, and management of vendor relationships. Further, you will play a key role to support procurement, planning, and inventory processes in an ERP. The successful candidate will partner with the High-throughput Biology, Data Science and Accounting & Finance Teams and will work cross-functionally with our scientists, engineers, and operational colleagues to build the “best in class” purchasing processes and procedures to support our rapid company growth.
